 
Quiliting Patchwork & Applique Class
Greta Fitchett will be teaching, for a 2nd year at Fox Sewing Machines due to popular demand, Greta will be taching small projects and basic techniques in Patchwork, Applique & Quiliting at Fox Sewing Machines throughout the year!
Classes are on a Thurs from 12-3pm, We will provide all machines & Refreshments, Cost is £20.00 plus fabrics & materials and we will have special offers on the day!
Classes Dates
Feb 4th - How to use your rotary cutter, ruler and mat. How to cut strips of fabric. Sew1/4inch seams. Make a log cabin blocks.
Feb 25th - 9 patch block. Simple star block. Quick cutting and piecing methods. Make star blocks.
March 4th - 4 patch blocks. Morecomplex star blocks. More quick cuttingand piecing methods. Make star blocks.
April 22nd - Bonded Applique, satin stitch and other decorative machine stitches. Templates provided for asimple design.
May 6th - Shadow applique trapping materials bwtween layers and decorative machine stiches.
May 20th - Machine reverse applique, using satin stitch. Teplates provided for a simple design.
June 10th - How to quilt part 1. Using a walking foot, creating lines using templates. How to transfer a design.
June 24th - How to quilt part 2. Free motion stitching creating patterns, using templates.
July 24th - Repeat 9 patch block. (see Feb 25th)
August 12th - Repeat 4 patch block. (see March 4th)
September 23rd - Repeat bonded applique. (see April 22nd)
October 7th - Repeat reverse applique. (see May 20th)
October 21st - Edge finishes for quilts. Try several different decorative ways of binding the esges by making samples.
November 11th - Repeat how toquilt part 1. (see June 10th)
November 25th - Repeat how to quilt part 2. (see June 24th)
